MCT200 Coating Thickness Gauge is designed for non-destructive, fast and precise coating thickness measurement and also can measure the film thickness. It is widely used in manufacturing,metal processing industry, chemical industry.commodities inspection and other testing areas. Measuring range from 0 to 10 mm, can meet the different industries in view of the workpiece surface coating thickness testing requirements. It is the necessary professional precision instrument to improve the production efficiency and the qualified rate, saving the cost of production.
Five types of probes are available for different application,probe contact parts with the hard chrome or red ruby materials, very durable.
With different external probes,the gauge can be applied to measuring thickness of
non-magnetic coating on magnetic metal substrate,as well as non-conductive coating on non-magnetic metal substrate.
Two calibration methods can be applied to the gauge and the system error of the probe can be corrected with the basic probe calibration method.
Two measuring modes: single or continuous, changeable.
Measuring status indicator shows the measuring status.
EL display back light ensures easy reading of screen data in low light conditions.
Battery information indicates the rest capacity of the battery.
Auto sleep and auto power off function to conserve battery life.

The surrounding environment should avoid of vibration, strong magnetic field, corrosive medium and heavy dust.
Five types of probes(F400,F1, F10,N1,CN02) are available for different applications, F10 probe measures up to 10mm.

When the instrument is off, press CAL then press start, with a beep, enter the calibration mode, set the probe zero point.
Test on the specimen, use up/down to retify the valus, then follow the step on the other four slices. In asending order, such as, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800μm. The instrument should avoid humidity, unplug the plug with care, keep clean.
The battery should be changed when almost out, used batteries must be removed from the gauge without delay to avoid leakage, please take out the batteries when not using.
The calibration substrate should avoid scratch, rust.

The foils of Mitech coating thickness gauge, also called as coating thickness gauge foils, used for instrument calibration in laboratory, production line or on-site, they are the necessary accessories for coating thickness gauge. It is the most convenient method for instrument calibration by establishing the thickness standard on the substrate. There are five pieces of standard foils in the standard configuration of the coating thickness gauge. Ferrous standard substrate F1 | |
The ferrous standard substrate F1 of coating thickness gauge, used for the zero calibration for F1 probe or matching with standard foils. The working principle is still using the magnetic method. With working principle of the magnetic method, when the probe and zero-calibration substrate contact, the probe head and magnetic metal substrate form a closed magnetic circuit, due to the non magnetic layer exists, the magnetic reluctance changes. With measuring the change, the layer thickness can be deduced to achieve the purpose of measuring the coating thickness on the ferrous substrate. |
